Management Accountant

Robert Half is proud to be exclusively partnered with a privately owned group organisation near Royston in the recruitment of a permanent Management Accountant. This is a role that will require full-time onsite working.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience producing, or assisting with, management accounts and is looking to take the next step in their career. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll be joining a growing business where you'll gain exposure to a wide range of finance responsibilities across multiple entities.

It's a varied role that will suit someone who enjoys getting involved, wants to continue learning and is keen to develop within a supportive finance team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts/financial statements
\n
• Prepare journals, including accruals and prepayments.
\n
• Provide analysis of various business interests including profitability and financial modelling
\n
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
\n
• Support the month-end and year-end close process.
\n
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
\n
• Produce financial reports and analyse variances.
\n
• Support the monthly payroll process.
\n
• Assist with cash flow reporting.
\n
• Help improve finance processes and reporting where possible.
\n
• Provide support to the CFO on ad hoc finance projects.
\n

About You

You'll ideally be:

\n
• Part-qualified or actively studying (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
\n
• Experienced in preparing, or supporting, management accounts.
\n
• Comfortable with accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
\n
• Confident using Excel and accounting software.
\n
• Organised, accurate and able to manage your own workload.
\n
• Someone with a positive attitude who's keen to develop and take on more responsibility.
\n
