Responsibilities\n- \n
- Lead end‑to‑end FP&A transformation programmes from diagnosis to implementation. \n
- Own EPM technology workstreams involving solution design, vendor engagement, configuration, testing, and change management. \n
- Advise clients on EPM platform selection (OneStream, Prophix, Board International, Anaplan). \n
- Design and implement improved planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, including driver‑based models, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning frameworks. \n
- Translate complex finance and technology challenges into clear, actionable roadmaps for clients. \n
- Manage delivery across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring quality, timeline, and budget commitments are met. \n
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through relationships, referrals, and outbound activity. \n
- Author compelling proposals and lead pitches to CFO‑level stakeholders. \n
- Develop and sustain relationships with EPM vendors as part of the Digital Alliances programme. \n
- Contribute to the development of FP&A and EPM service offerings, including methodologies, tools, accelerators, and thought leadership. \n
- Build and mentor a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous learning. \n
- Represent Grant Thornton at external events, roundtables, and industry forums. \n
- Collaborate across service lines to deliver integrated solutions to clients. \n
- \n
- 8+ years in FP&A, finance transformation, or management consulting. \n
- Experience leading complex programmes. \n
- Hands‑on EPM implementation (OneStream, Prophix, Board International, or comparable). \n
- Deep understanding of FP&A processes (planning cycles, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, consolidated P&L, KPI frameworks). \n
- Track record designing future‑state FP&A operating models covering process, data, technology, and people. \n
- Comfortable presenting to senior client leaders such as CFOs, FDs, and Private Equity stakeholders. \n
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAS or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory if other criteria are met. \n
- Strong commercial acumen: scoping engagements, managing budgets, and identifying revenue opportunities. \n
- \n
- OneStream implementation experience (certification an advantage). \n
- Familiarity with EPM vendor ecosystems and partner/alliance models. \n
- Experience in Private Equity‑backed environments or preparing finance functions for exit or IPO. \n
- Exposure to broader finance technology landscape: ERP (SAP, Oracle, D365), data visualisation (Power BI, Tableau), and data warehouse concepts. \n
- Sector depth in Financial Services, Consumer, TMT, Infrastructure, or Public Sector. \n
- Experience building or scaling a consulting practice area or service line. \n
