Business Development Manager (Skills Bootcamps)

Business Development Manager – Skills Bootcamps (Digital) | Bristol/Bath | £40,000–£45,000 + Bonus | Permanent

A digital learning provider delivering DfE-funded Skills Bootcamps is hiring a BDM to own employer engagement across the West of England. This is a commercial, region-owning role — you'll be building the employer network that gets bootcamp graduates hired, not managing an existing book.

The role:

• Build a verified employer network across Bristol/Bath, securing commitments to interview and hire Skills Bootcamp graduates
\n
• Generate new business and manage relationships with employers, LEPs, Chambers of Commerce, and regional growth stakeholders
\n
• Represent the organisation at regional events and industry forums
\n
• Work with delivery teams to align employer demand with live programme provision
\n
• Track activity against KPIs on employer sign-ups and learner outcomes
\n
• Support tender bids with employer engagement evidence and regional market intelligence
\n

We're looking for:

\n
• Skills Bootcamp business development experience — essential, not negotiable
\n
• An existing employer network across Bristol/Bath or the wider West of England
\n
• Comfortable owning a geography independently and hitting targets without hand-holding
\n
• Familiarity with tender-led, funded delivery environments
\n

What's on offer:

• £35,000–£45,000 basic, dependent on experience
\n
• Performance-related bonus
\n
• Remote-based with regional travel, flexible working
\n
