Transport Escort (Part-Time 25 Hours per Week) Location: SouthamptonSalary: £16,523 per yearWorking Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:30 11:00 and 14:30 17:00 (25 hours per week).About the RoleWe are looking for a caring and reliable Transport Escort to join our team, supporting individuals totravel safely to and from our Day Centre Hubs.Working alongside a driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring passengers feel safe, comfortable and supported throughout their journey.This is a highly rewarding position suited to someone who is compassionate and enjoys working with people.Key Responsibilities Provide support to customers from their home to the Day Centre Hub and backAssist passengers boarding and exiting the vehicle, including wheelchair usersEnsure all passengers are safely seated and secured during transportOffer physical and emotional support while encouraging independenceMaintain a safe, respectful and comfortable environment during journeysCommunicate any concerns, incidents or health observations to managersWork closely with colleagues to ensure excellent customer careWhat Were Looking For A caring, patient and reliable natureStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to support individuals with mobility needsA professional and respectful attitudeDesirable (but not essential): Experience working with elderly people or vulnerable adults (including informal care such as supporting family members)Experience in transport, care or community-based rolesWhy Join Us?
