Night Shift Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be supporting a well established food manufacturer in their search for a Night Shift Manager to take ownership of a full shift at their factory in South Yorkshire.

This is a great opportunity to take full responsibility of the department, leading a tea, of experienced operatives across multiple production lines.

Working Hours: Sunday – Tuesday Night + every other Saturday

Salary: £50,000

Key Responsibilities of the Night Shift Manager include:

• Lead an experienced team in a high volume food manufacturing environment
\n
• Drive productivity, deliver KPI’s and ensure production targets are achieved
\n
• Ensure compliance to food safety, GMP and HACCP standards
\n
• Promote a strong health & safety culture, ensuring operatives are held accountable and challenge behaviours when necessary
\n
• Monitor and address downtime and any other line issues
\n
• Work alongside all other Shift Managers, Maintenance and Quality teams
\n

Requirements for the Production Shift Manager:

\n
• Proven experience in a production leadership role within food manufacturing
\n
• Strong communication skills and able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
\n
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
\n
• Hands-on leadership style and proven capabilities to lead unsupervised
\n

This role would suit candidates who have previously held roles such as Production Team Leader, Shift Manager, Production Supervisor or Production Manager
