Responsibilities - Freight Pricing Specialist

• Prepare accurate and timely freight quotations for import, export, and cross-trade shipments.

• Source and negotiate competitive rates with shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, and logistics partners.
\n
• Analyse freight costs, margins, and market trends to ensure commercially viable pricing strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with sales teams to support customer acquisition and retention initiatives.
\n
• Respond to client and sales enquiries regarding transportation costs, transit times, and service options.
\n
• Support with Prepare submissions, RFQs (Requests for Quotation), and pricing proposals for new business opportunities.
\n
• Monitor pricing accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies and customer agreements.
\n
• Work closely with operations teams to ensure quotations reflect operational capabilities and service requirements.
\n
• Generate reports and analyse pricing performance, profitability, and market competitiveness.
\n
• Support strategic procurement initiatives and supplier relationship management.
