Marketing and Finance Strategist – London hybrid – up to £75k pro-rata

\n\nAre you a Marketing and Finance Strategist, experienced in budget tracking, capacity planning and management information reporting, looking for an exciting new opportunity? If so, this is just the role for you. Joining forces with one of the biggest names in the Banking sector, this role promises to deliver!
\nAs Marketing and Finance Strategist, you’ll ultimately be responsible for reporting into the Head of Marketing, overlooking marketing budget tracking, reporting MI and overall capacity planning and much more besides.

\nDay-to-day responsibilities include:

- Financial oversight: Support with the annual marketing budget and maintain accurate budget reporting across campaigns; identifying risks and opportunities along with recommended actions. \n
- Business Prioritisation: Support the team in managing and prioritising requests from the wider business. Facilitate decision making on which initiatives to execute, defer or stop – balancing customer impact, regulatory needs, capacity and strategic value. \n
- Turn strategy into action: Support Senior Marketing Managers in building the marketing strategy and annual plan, helping set direction and momentum. \n
- Stakeholder visibility: Showcase marketing activity to business stakeholders through clear and concise updates. \n
- Lead high-impact projects: Opportunity to work on marketing projects and briefs, working closely with execution teams to deliver effective, well-timed activity. \n
- Continuous improvement: Look for ways to continually improve ways of working within the team. \n

- Analytical, strategic, and pragmatic mindset—with the confidence to push boundaries and bring fresh ideas. \n
- Strong influencing skills: able to build trust, align stakeholders, and work effectively across functions and levels. \n
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects systematically, using structured problem-solving and analysis. \n
- Experience in financial services, with an understanding of market/competitor context and customer needs. \n
