\nLocation: Maidenhead, SL6 Hours: 35 hours per week, term time only (8:30am - 5:30pm, flexibility required for fixtures) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Start: September 2026

\nAbout the Role We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Sports Coach (Specialist in Netball, Hockey or Athletics) to join our thriving Junior School PE department. You will deliver PE lessons, support games sessions, and run extra-curricular sports clubs, while also assisting with home and away fixtures.
\nThis is a varied and rewarding role where you will help promote a love of sport and physical activity, while supporting pupils’ development both on and off the field.

\nKey Responsibilities• Coach a range of sports including netball, hockey, and athletics • Deliver PE lessons and support games sessions • Assist with extra-curricular sports clubs and team fixtures • Support the organisation of inter-house competitions and sports events • Promote the value of sport for physical, mental, and social wellbeing • Assist with planning and preparing lessons alongside colleagues • Support school trips and residential activities where required • Complete administrative tasks such as recording results and preparing team sheets • Assist with promoting sporting success via school communications and displays • Ensure equipment is prepared and stored correctly • Support supervision of pupils where required, including school transport
\nPerson Specification• Passionate about engaging Junior pupils in sport • Experience coaching netball, hockey, or athletics • Qualified coach in one of these sports or holds a sports-related degree • Patient, motivating, and able to inspire confidence and respect • Strong team player with excellent communication skills • Able to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues • Flexible, proactive, and committed to school life
