SEND Tutor - Wirral The Opportunity Prospero Teaching is currently seeking experienced and compassionate SEND Tutors to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to children and young people across Wirral. As a SEND Tutor, you'll work with learners who require additional educational support due to a range of special educational needs and disabilities. Every tuition programme is tailored to the individual, giving you the opportunity to make a real difference to a young person's confidence, engagement and academic progress. Position Details* Location: Wirral * Position: SEND Tutor * Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible) * Start Date: September 2026 * Duration: Ongoing Experience, Training and Qualifications The ideal candidate will have:* Experience supporting children and young people with SEND * QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification (desirable) * Experience delivering personalised 1:1 tuition * A patient, adaptable and engaging teaching style Experience supporting learners with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, MLD or speech and language needs is highly desirable.
