About the role\nReady to lead complex technology programs that shape how millions of customers and team members experience Bunnings? As Senior Program Manager, you'll take the lead on major cross-functional programs across technology and the business, helping turn strategic ideas into practical outcomes that make a real difference.
\nThis is a role for someone who enjoys joining the dots across digital, data, customer, product, corporate and operational teams. You'll work with senior leaders, delivery teams and partners to bring clarity, momentum and confidence to large-scale change.
\nYou’ll have the space to lead, the support to grow, and the opportunity to help shape how we deliver complex programs across Bunnings.
\nThis is a hybrid role based in our support office in Burnley.
What's involved\n- \n
- Lead large, complex technology and business programs from early planning through to delivery and benefits realisation \n
- Partner with business and technology leaders to shape program direction, build strong business cases and create clear delivery roadmaps \n
- Bring structure and rhythm to delivery through practical governance, planning, risk management and decision-making forums \n
- Prepare clear executive materials that help senior leaders understand options, trade-offs, risks and next steps \n
- Build strong relationships across teams, functions and external partners to remove roadblocks and keep delivery moving \n
- Track performance, financials, dependencies and benefits so programs stay focused on the outcomes that matter \n
- Coach project managers, delivery leads and program teams, helping lift capability and create consistent ways of working \n
- Support a culture of learning through retrospectives, practical playbooks, shared standards and continuous improvement \n
- Help teams stay connected to the customer, our store network and the team members who rely on great technology to do their best work \n

You're an experienced program leader who can bring people together around a clear plan, even when the work is complex and the path isn't always straightforward. You know how to balance strategy with action, and you're comfortable working with senior stakeholders while staying close to delivery teams.

What you'll need\n- \n
- Significant experience leading large‑scale technology and business transformation programs \n
- Experience managing complex, multi-stream programs across areas such as digital, customer platforms, ERP, SaaS, POS, merchandise, supply chain or operations \n
- Strong experience working with executive stakeholders and steering committees \n
- A track record of setting up programs from the early stages, including strategy, roadmap, governance and delivery approach \n
- Strong skills in benefits tracking, risk management, dependency planning, financial management and program assurance \n
- Experience working with vendors and commercial partners to deliver value \n
- Confident use of tools such as Jira or ADO, Confluence, Miro and PPM platforms \n
- A degree in Business, IT or a related field \n
- Project management or Agile qualifications would be highly regarded \n
