The company delivers projects across social housing, residential developments and new-build properties. With several new schemes starting shortly, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business and help build and develop its solar installation team. The successful candidate will be a practical, hands-on installer who can lead projects on site, maintain high installation standards and support less experienced members of the team.Responsibilities Lead domestic solar PV and battery storage installationsManage installation teams and daily site activityComplete installations safely, efficiently and to a high standardCarry out electrical installation, testing and commissioningEnsure work complies with MCS requirements and current regulationsReview site information and identify potential installation issuesLiaise with project managers, clients and residentsComplete installation documentation and certificationSupport the recruitment, training and development of installation teamsTravel to projects across the UK when requiredRequirements Strong practical experience installing solar PV systemsExperience installing battery storage systemsQualified Electrician or experienced Solar PV Installer18th Edition Wiring RegulationsECS or CSCS cardSolar PV installation qualificationExperience with testing, commissioning and fault findingGood understanding of MCS installation standardsFull UK driving licenceComfortable travelling and working away when requiredInspection and Testing qualifications would be advantageous. Candidates must have genuine installation experience.
