Employment Solicitor

Our client is a family-run, modern law firm with a commercial approach offering expert legal advice to individuals and businesses. They offer their clients a first class service.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and ambitious Employment Solicitor with 2 years+ PQE to join our team although Newly Qualified Solicitors will also be considered.

Working directly with the Managing Partner, and their team of lawyers and support staff, you will be dealing with existing clients as well as new ones, offering expert, commercially minded legal advice and ensuring that the service levels they provide remain top-class.

Day to day responsibilities

• Building a good rapport with referrers and clients
\n
• Giving clients confidence to instruct the firm
\n
• Solving employment law problems for individuals – identifying all the potential issues and getting the best legal outcome for the client
\n
• Helping businesses – from start-ups to larger SMEs, solve their day-to-day employment and HR issues and ensuring the clients stay on the right side of the law with up-to-date paperwork and expert advice at the end of the phone
\n
• Working alongside the team to achieve monthly targets and KPIs
\n
• Growing the business – working with the rest of the team to develop new opportunities and communicating the firm's message to attract new clients
\n

You will be required to have a flexible and positive approach to working in a busy and growing firm and adhere to strict professional and ethical standards.

• Currently a Solicitor of 2 years+ PQE
\n
• A good knowledge of Employment Law
\n
• Excellent communication skills – confident, clear, articulate and welcoming
\n
• You take pride in what you do and provide the highest level of client service
\n
• A hard worker who wants to develop their legal career and progress
\n
