About the Opportunity

\n

We are recruiting for an experienced Group Consolidation Manager to take ownership of group reporting, consolidation and financial governance within a complex international business. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to step into a highly visible leadership role, working closely with senior finance stakeholders across multiple regions.

\n

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of consolidated financial reporting, driving process improvements, supporting strategic decision-making, and helping to develop a high-performing finance team.

\n

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead group consolidation activities across multiple legal entities, business units and international locations.
  • \n
  • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close and reporting cycles, ensuring deadlines are achieved and consolidated accounts are accurate and robust.
  • \n
  • Oversee intercompany accounting processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, controls and accountability.
  • \n
  • Ensure balance sheet integrity through monthly reconciliations and regular reviews with local finance teams.
  • \n
  • Support statutory reporting, tax, audit and compliance requirements, acting as a key point of contact for group accounting matters.
  • \n
  • Maintain and enhance the General Ledger structure, supporting finance systems developments and integration of new business units.
  • \n
  • Partner with finance leaders across operational finance, shared services, treasury and tax functions to ensure effective and consistent financial processes.
  • \n
  • Lead, mentor and develop members of the Group Consolidation team, fostering continuous improvement and professional growth.

About You

\n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

\n
    \n
  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • \n
  • Previous experience within group accounting, shared services or a multinational finance environment.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of group consolidations, intercompany accounting, statutory reporting and US GAAP.
  • \n
  • Experience working with SAP and consolidation systems, although this is not essential.
  • \n
  • A proven track record of managing month-end close processes, external audits and operating within a controlled governance environment.
  • \n
  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • \n
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes and driving efficiencies.
  • \n
