\nOur client is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead their MOTS & SHAP services in Shepton Mallet. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate leader who is committed to delivering high-quality support services and empowering individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
\nThe Role
\nAs Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the service, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred support. You will lead and develop a team, monitor service performance, manage budgets and resources, and build strong partnerships with external organisations and stakeholders.
\nYou will play a key role in ensuring contractual requirements and quality standards are met while driving continuous improvement across the service.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Lead, motivate and manage a team to deliver high-quality support services. \n
- Monitor and improve service performance against contractual targets and quality standards. \n
- Manage budgets and resources effectively. \n
- Support, coach and develop staff to achieve their full potential. \n
- Build and maintain positive relationships with partner agencies and stakeholders. \n
- Promote person-centred and trauma-informed approaches across the service. \n
- Participate in the on-call rota and respond to operational needs as required. \n
About You
\nThe successful candidate will have:
\n- \n
- Experience managing teams within homelessness, housing, social care, or a related support service. \n
- Strong leadership, communication and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others. \n
- Experience managing service performance, budgets and achieving quality standards and contractual targets. \n
- A commitment to delivering person-centred, trauma-informed support. \n
- The ability to build effective relationships with partners and stakeholders. \n
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. \n
- Flexibility to participate in the on-call rota. \n

- Regular travel between services and partner organisations may be required. \n
- Permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. \n
- Based in Shepton Mallet. \n
