Are you looking for an exciting role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Housing Department? This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of housing management and tenant satisfaction that the association is known for.

Day-to-Day duties of the Role:

    \n
  • Prepare housing application assessments for Lettings & Allocation Sub Committee Meetings, attend and present applications.
  • \n
  • Attend weekly Manager’s Meetings to discuss departmental strategies and updates.
  • \n
  • Conduct visits to new tenants and internal transfers after 3 months to ensure smooth transition and satisfaction.
  • \n
  • Work closely with support agencies to provide comprehensive services to tenants.
  • \n
  • Conduct annual visits to tenants for Tenancy Audits.
  • \n
  • Address and resolve tenant queries and issues effectively.
  • \n
  • Maintain and update the Association's database, including archiving and managing spreadsheets.
  • \n
  • Support staff with tenant queries and oversee the Arrears Procedure.
  • \n
  • Prepare necessary documents for court proceedings related to the repossession of properties and attend court hearings.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with the Property Services Manager on matters including voids to let and pre-void inspections.
  • \n
  • Manage online CORE reports for government documentation.
  • \n
  • Handle annual rent increases, including sending out notification letters and updating relevant systems.
  • \n
  • Keep the Rent audit file up-to-date with new lets for quarterly rent audits.
  • \n
  • Conduct weekly petty cash reconciliations with the CEO.
  • \n
  • Manage advertisements for void properties through Homemove and approve Homeswapper (Mutual Exchange) applications online.
  • \n
  • Manage cases of Anti-Social Behaviour effectively.
  • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in housing management or a similar role.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • \n
  • Proficient in using housing management software and Microsoft Office.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of legal requirements related to housing and property management.
  • \n
