7.5T Driver - Croydon

Job Title: 7.5T Home Delivery Driver

Hiring company: DHL Argos

Work Location: Croydon (CR0 4XS)

Job Role:

· Completing multi-drop Home Deliveries into customers' homes

· Working as part of a 2-person crew (either alongside an experienced drivers mate, or another driver)

· Delivering a range of bulky household goods

· Providing excellent Customer Service – being friendly when delivering, calling ahead to customers etc.

Requirements for the role:

· 7.5T driving license entitlement or higher

· Valid CPC & Digi Tacho card

· No more than 6 penalty points (No DD/IN driving offences)

· Physically fit – Lifting aids will be provided along with manual handling training, however the role will require you to lift heavy goods up flights of stairs and into customers’ homes.

· Friendly, polite nature – you will be the face of the business!

Shift Times & Pay Rates:

· 06:00am start time

· Shift length will vary as the position is “Job & Knock” – Meaning that you finish whenever the deliveries are completed.

· Average shift length will be around 10-12 hours

• Sunday till Thursday 06:00 am

The position is on a “temp-perm” contract, meaning that you will work for Magnus Search to begin with before being offered a full-time contract with Argos after 12 weeks of working.

Initial Pay Rate: £18.90 per hour
