Management Accountant

A growing and established manufacturing business based in Kent is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to develop their commercial finance skills within a fast-paced operational environment.Working closely with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting decision-making, and providing valuable insight into business performance.Key Responsibilities:Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.Provide financial insight and commentary to support business performance discussions.Partner with operational teams to improve financial understanding and decision-making.Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.Analyse costs, margins and operational performance to identify trends and opportunities.Assist with month-end close activities and continuous improvement initiatives.Develop reporting and processes to enhance visibility of financial performance.About You:Part-qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or Qualified.Minimum 2 years' experience within management accounting, commercial finance or finance business partnering.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insight.Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, FMCG or product-based environment would be advantageous.Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with non-finance stakeholders.Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems would be beneficial.The Opportunity:This role offers the chance to join a successful manufacturing organisation where you will gain broad exposure across management accounting, commercial finance and business partnering.
