The Opportunity\nAs an Accounts Manager, you'll lead a portfolio of clients, providing a fully outsourced finance function while working closely with ambitious owner-managed businesses across a wide range of sectors.
\nYou'll oversee the delivery of management accounts, statutory financial statements and financial reporting, while mentoring a talented team and building long-term relationships with your clients. This is a varied leadership role offering genuine autonomy, commercial responsibility and excellent long-term career prospects.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality outsourced accounting services. \n
- Oversee the preparation and review of management accounts and statutory financial statements. \n
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted long-term relationships. \n
- Manage WIP, billing, budgets and overall portfolio profitability. \n
- Lead, coach and develop a team, supporting both technical and professional development. \n
- Collaborate closely with Audit and Corporate Tax teams to provide a seamless client service. \n
- Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and support wider business development initiatives. \n
- Drive continuous improvements across systems, processes and client service delivery. \n

- ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified, or qualified by experience within UK accountancy practice. \n
- Strong experience managing a client portfolio within Business Services or Outsourced Accounting. \n
- Excellent knowledge of statutory accounts and management accounts. \n
- Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, with exposure to CaseWare or similar software being advantageous. \n
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, WIP and client profitability. \n
- A confident leader with experience mentoring and developing junior team members. \n
- Passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience and building lasting relationships. \n

- £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience. \n
