Location: Near Dorking (MUST DRIVE due to rural location)

Shifts: Monday – Friday, 12:30 - 19:00 (with 1 hour unpaid)

Part time, Permanent Contract: 27.5 per week. Term Time plus summer school (40 weeks per year, plus 5.6 weeks holiday). Other hours are available for the right candidate.

Salary - £13.25 per hour / Annual £16,615

Our client is high end private boarding school. They are looking for a Catering Assistant to join their catering team producing and serving freshly prepared meals for 300 boarders using top quality locally sourced products. We have a modern well-equipped kitchen and even have a full size outside wood burning pizza oven. Situated near Dorking in the Surrey Hills countryside, as a catering assistant you will be working in a friendly and busy position. The position will assist with managing the stores as well as washing up and cleaning.

About You

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a busy catering environment and be able to work as part of a team. You will be rewarded with a competitive salary. Meals on duty and uniforms are provided.

Ideally you will have a background in an independent school, restaurant or an up-market contract catering site and will be looking for an exciting new challenge in a friendly school environment.

Due to the remote location and lack of public transport, your own transport is essential.
