Credit Controller

Orka Financial is working with a well established business based in Richmond, who are looking to bring an experienced Credit Controller on board as soon as possible on a fixed-term basis.

Responsibilities

• Managing and monitoring customer credit limits and risk exposure
\n
• Conducting credit checks and setting up new customer accounts
\n
• Producing and reviewing aged debtor reports (30/60/90+ days)
\n
• Proactively chasing overdue invoices via phone, email, and written communication
\n
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships to encourage timely payments
\n
• Negotiating payment plans and resolving outstanding balances
\n
• Investigating and resolving invoice queries or disputes efficiently.
\n

Requirements

\n
• Previous experience in credit control and collections
\n
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
\n
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines
\n
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
\n
• Experience with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
\n
• Confident handling difficult conversations with customers.
\n
