As a Buyer within this business, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the procurement and supply chain operations. Your day-to-day tasks will involve strategic sourcing for project based work, managing supplier relationships, and supporting cost-saving initiatives.

• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.

• Lead large scale commercial pricing projects

• Be a part of creating and developing long term strategies for specific categories within the business

• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
\n
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for procurement improvements.
\n
• Review contracts and terms with supply base
\n
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
\n
• Maintain accurate records and reports on procurement activities.
\n

Profile

A successful Buyer should have:

• Experience in procurement/purchasing at a strategic level
\n
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
\n
• Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
\n
• Knowledge of procurement processes and policies.
\n
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
\n

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
