We are seeking an Assistant Manager for our Children’s Residential Service, catering to children and young people aged 8-17 with social and emotional needs. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to make a significant impact on the lives of children and young people.
Day-to-Day of the Role:\n- \n
- Oversee daily operations in one of our residential homes, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for the children and young people. \n
- Monitor, review, and audit systems to ensure compliance with Ofsted standards and relevant regulations. \n
- Supervise and support the team, conducting regular appraisals and acting as a mentor. \n
- Deputise for the Registered Manager as needed. \n
- Promote the emotional health and wellbeing of the children, acting as a positive role model. \n
- Engage in continuous personal and professional development through our extensive training programs, including the Therapeutic Parenting with PACE training programme. \n

- Minimum age of 21. \n
- At least 2 years’ experience working with children and young people. \n
- Qualified to NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children and Young People or equivalent. \n
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a management team. \n
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. \n
