Job Title: Credit Control Executive

Location: Ripon

Salary: £28-30,000

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Control Executive to join a well-established business based in Ripon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong client relationships while managing cash flow effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Opening new accounts and managing a portfolio of customers on a day-to-day basis
\n
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
\n
• Proactively chasing outstanding debt via calls, emails, and written communication
\n
• Coordinating payments to support cash collection and reduce aged debt
\n
• Resolving queries relating to outstanding invoices
\n
• Negotiating and managing repayment plans where required
\n
• Escalating complex cases for third-party collection where necessary
\n
• Maintaining accurate customer records and updating internal systems
\n
• Monitoring and managing credit limits in line with company procedures
\n
• Supporting account reconciliation and ensuring processes are followed
\n

Skills & Experience

\n
• Credit Control or cash collection experience is essential
\n
• Experience working in a sales-driven environment is advantageous
\n
• Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and finance systems
\n
• Excellent communication and telephone manner
\n
• Strong organisational skills with a proactive, team-oriented approach
\n
• High attention to detail and a methodical working style
\n
• Confident in negotiation and decision-making
\n
