At Riverside we recruit to potential not just on skills and experience, so we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all the essential criteria on the job description.The difference you will make as Risk Manager In this role you will be reporting to the Director of Governance and Assurance, the Risk Manager leads the development, embedding and continuous improvement of an effective risk management framework across the Group, adopting the principles of Enterprise Risk Management. The postholder will provide the framework to ensure that risks are identified, assessed and managed in line with the organisation’s risk appetite, and that the Board and Committees receive high-quality assurance and insight to support risk management. The role will act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, supporting the organisation to maintain strong governance, regulatory compliance and a positive risk-aware culture.About youWe are looking for someone with:• Experience of operating within a risk management, audit or governance function in a regulated environment • Experience of developing or embedding risk frameworks and assurance processes • Experience of working with Boards and senior stakeholders • Strong understanding of: o Enterprise risk management principles o Internal controls and assurance frameworks o Governance and regulatory requirements • Ability to influence and challenge constructively at senior levelsWhy Riverside?At Riverside, we’re a housing association with a difference – enhancing the everyday for all our customers.
