Electronics TechnicianCongleton, Cheshire£38,000 - £45,000 + BenefitsAn established electronics design and manufacturing business in Congleton is looking for an adaptable and hands-on Electronics Technician to join its growing team.With over 50 years of trading history, they are a small, highly experienced engineering business designing and manufacturing specialist electronic products primarily for the automotive sector, including buses, trucks, electric vehicle systems, telematics and vehicle communication technologies.This is an opportunity to join a close-knit company where your work will genuinely make a difference. They are looking for someone practical, technically capable and eager to get involved across a wide variety of electronics projects.The RoleYou'll work closely with the engineering team supporting the development, testing and production of electronic products. The role is varied and will include:Building and testing prototype electronic assembliesPCB assembly, bring-up and fault findingComponent-level diagnostics and repairSupporting schematic capture and PCB layout processesWorking with electronic design software such as KiCad, Altium or similarAssisting with BOM creation and product documentationSupporting low-volume manufacturing and product improvementsHelping ensure products are production-ready and reliableThis is not a repetitive bench-only repair role.
