Teaching Assistant

KS2 Teaching Assistant - Stockport | Full Time | September 2026

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive Primary School in the Stockport area from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Teaching Assistant with a strong background in Upper KS2. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support learning, deliver targeted intervention sessions and help pupils prepare for the transition to secondary school.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have proven experience supporting pupils in Upper KS2
\n
• Demonstrate a secure understanding of the KS2 curriculum, particularly in English and Maths
\n
• Be confident planning and delivering small group interventions to raise attainment
\n
• Be able to support pupils of varying abilities, including those requiring additional support
\n
• Be reliable, motivated and committed to helping every child achieve their potential
\n

This is a full-time position starting in September 2026.
