Cantily Construction Ltd is expanding our reinstatement team and we are looking for an experienced General Builder / Carpenter to work on private residential properties affected by fire, water, and impact damage. This role suits someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, communicates well with clients, and can work independently across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out reinstatement works following fire, flood, and impact damage
\n
• First and second fix carpentry, plasterboarding, studwork, flooring, doors, skirting, and general building tasks
\n
• Kitchen and bathroom reinstatement (advantageous)
\n
• Liaise professionally with homeowners, loss adjusters, and project managers
\n
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow all H&S requirements
\n
• Complete works to Cantily’s high standards with accuracy and attention to detail
\n

Requirements

\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
• CSCS card
\n
• Strong experience in domestic reinstatement or general building
\n
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on site
\n
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
\n
• Eligibility to work in the UK
\n

• Own van

• Own tools
\n
• Experience working with insurers or loss adjusters
\n
• Multi-trade skills (tiling, plastering, decorating, basic plumbing)
\n
