Job Type: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days from home)

We are seeking a Senior Surveyor to join a large housing association on a temporary basis. This role is crucial for overseeing a small team of surveyors and ensuring high standards of repairs and maintenance across our properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management and a proven track record in leading repair projects.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee a team of Repair Officers, Surveyors, and Senior Surveyors carrying out responsive repairs.
\n
• Carry out pre and post inspections
\n
• Manage contractors effectively, ensuring clear communication and continuous improvement.
\n
• Contract manage main repairs contractors, taking into account the variances in these relationships.
\n
• Support the regional team with various support duties as required.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
• Extensive experience in Surveying within Social Housing including Day to day repairs and Disrepair
\n
• Strong leadership skills with experience
\n
• Proven experience in contract management.
\n
• Ability to handle customer interactions positively and transparently.
\n
• High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
\n
• IT literate with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
\n
