KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title: Vocational and Employability TutorLocation: Centre based – IpswichType: Term Time only, Permanent (45 weeks at 37.5 hours)Salary: £24,000 - £31,000 dependent on experience (Full Time Equivalent is £27,000 - £36,000)KM are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established Grade 2 private Training Provider, with over 30 years of proven success in education and training.We are seeking a Vocational and Employability Tutor who will play a vital role in mentoring and supporting learners, particularly those with additional needs (SEN / SEND). This is a rewarding opportunity to help young people build confidence, overcome barriers, and achieve their full potential.Duties:\n

- Deliver high quality learning programmes to include; Employability Skills, Personal and Social Development, Maths and English and a Vocational certificate/ qualification pathway at entry level to level 2. \n
- Deliver to small groups of learners onsite. \n
- Work closely with learners to create and update individual learning plans in line with individual and EHCP targets. \n
- Ensure each learner receives a robust initial assessment in order to inform and update the ILP and RARPA framework. \n
- Ensure all students receive relevant work experience in line with their planned programme of learning. \n
- Build good relationships with learners offering support, advice and guidance throughout their learning journey. \n

- Hold a level 3 Teaching qualification as a minimum such as AET/PTLLS \n
- Hold a Level 2 in Maths and English – Functional Skills equivalent \n
- Experience of supporting and delivering training to young people who have experienced barriers to their lives and education. \n
- Knowledge and understanding of the multiple barriers young people face and be able to develop support mechanisms / interventions. \n
- Experience of delivering Functional Skills Maths and English \n
