.NET Developer/ Greenfield
Job Description
We’re looking for a mid-level .NET Developer to join a growing team building a greenfield application within a tech-for-good organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a product from the ground up while contributing to meaningful, purpose-driven work that has a positive societal impact.
\nWorking as part of a collaborative, forward-thinking engineering team, you’ll help design and deliver scalable, modern solutions using .NET and microservices architecture.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using C# and .NET \n
- Contribute to the architecture and development of a microservices-based system \n
- Apply strong object-oriented programming principles, including polymorphism and clean code practices \n
- Help build and optimise infrastructure-as-code (IaC) environments \n
- Work closely with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines \n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver features \n
- Contribute to technical decisions in a greenfield environment \n
- Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices \n
Required Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- Solid experience developing with C# and modern .NET (Core / .NET 6+) \n
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture \n
- Good knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, particularly polymorphism \n
- Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) \n
- Exposure to infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or similar) \n
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) \n
- Comfortable working in agile development environments \n
Desirable Skills
\n- \n
- Experience working on greenfield projects \n
- Cloud platform experience (e.g., Azure, AWS) \n
- Knowledge of containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes) \n
- Passion or interest in tech-for-good initiatives \n
