SEN Teacher / SEND Teacher – Make a Lasting DifferenceWe are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a specialist or inclusive school setting, supporting pupils with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education, individualised learning, and improving outcomes for children with complex needs.
\nThe RoleAs an SEN Teacher, you will:
\nPlan and deliver differentiated, personalised lessons tailored to individual learning needsSupport pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC/ASD), SEMH, ADHD, learning difficulties, speech and language needs, and complex behavioursImplement and review EHCP targets, Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and personalised support strategiesUse trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches to support emotional regulation and engagementCreate a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environmentWork closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and external professionalsMonitor progress, assess learning, and adapt teaching to meet pupils’ needs
\nThe Ideal CandidateWe welcome applications from teachers who:
\nHold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent)Have experience teaching pupils with SEND, SEMH, or complex learning needsAre confident managing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour supportHave strong knowledge of SEND legislation, EHCPs, and inclusive practiceAre patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting vulnerable learnersHave experience in special schools, alternative provision, PRUs, or SEN units (desirable but not essential)
