Supply Chain Manager

Are you an experienced Supply Chain or Planning Manager? Do you have a strong background across both production planning and purchasing within a manufacturing environment? Are you confident leading teams, driving SIOP, and using ERP systems to improve operational performance? • Leading the Planning and Purchasing teams, managing customer demand through the SIOP process to ensure production, capacity and material plans are aligned with business requirements.
\n
• Managing the production planning process, ensuring customer demand is translated into achievable production schedules through effective capacity planning and SIOP.
\n
• Managing the sales orderbook, monitoring customer demand changes, producing KPI reports, and working closely with manufacturing to ensure delivery performance and operational targets are achieved.
\n
• Driving supplier performance, managing key supplier relationships, implementing cost reduction initiatives, improving purchasing processes and using ERP systems to optimise planning, scheduling, inventory and supply chain performance.
\n
• Coaching and developing the supply chain team, embedding lean processes, improving KPI performance, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and supply chain best practice.

Supply Chain ManagerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications:\n

\n
• Proven experience in a Supply Chain Manager, Planning Manager, Demand Planning Manager or similar leadership position within precision manufacturing
\n
• Strong understanding of both production planning/SIOP and purchasing
\n
• Experienced using ERP/MRP systems
\n
• Strong supplier communication experience
\n
