Forklift Operative
Job Description
Right Now Group are seeking an experienced Forklift Operative for a leading global logistics provider based in Langley. This role is essential to the smooth running of warehouse operations, involving the handling, storage, and distribution of goods using forklifts. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting inbound and outbound processes, maintaining accurate stock control, and ensuring that all tasks are completed in line with company procedures and health and safety regulations.
\nDuties and responsibilities of Forklift Operator:

- Safely and efficiently operate counterbalance forklifts in line with company policies and health & safety standards \n
- Load, unload, move, and stack materials, goods, and products \n
- Carry out daily visual safety inspections of forklift equipment and report any faults \n
- Accurately complete warehouse documentation and support inventory control procedures \n
- Assist with picking, packing, labelling, and general warehouse duties when required \n
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment always \n
- Covering supervisory duties \n
- Booking in freight \n
- Screening freight \n
The successful candidate:
\n- \n
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB / ITSSAR accredited or equivalent) \n
- Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment \n
- Strong understanding of warehouse health & safety practices \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team \n
- Good communication skills and accurate record-keeping \n
- 2 years experience dealing with airfreight \n
- Screening experience desirable \n

\nSalary
\n£31,000 to £33,500
