Project Safety Engineer - Milton Keynes / Market Harborough / Kettering (Travel Required)
\nPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a Project Safety Engineer to join our well-established client based in Milton Keynes / Market Harborough / Kettering.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual with experience within construction, warehouse or impact protection environments to join a growing business delivering installation and maintenance projects across the UK.
\nWorking alongside the Project Safety Manager, you will coordinate installation teams, ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently, and maintain excellent standards of quality, safety and customer service.
\nThis role involves regular nationwide travel and working away from home and will suit applicants who have experience working as an Installation Engineer, Project Engineer or Site Engineer.
\nRates of Pay:

- £27,000 - £30,000 per annum + Accommodation & Stop-Out Allowance \n
Shift Pattern:
\n- \n
- Full Time \n
- Permanent \n
- Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with some overnight stays required \n

Day-to-Day Duties:
\nYour duties as a Project Safety Engineer are:
\n- \n
- Support the Project Safety Manager with the coordination of installation and maintenance projects \n
- Supervise subcontract installation teams, allocating work according to skill levels \n
- Ensure all work is completed safely, following RAMS, health & safety procedures and PPE requirements \n
- Carry out on-site quality inspections and provide coaching and support to installers \n
- Manage on-site stock, materials and equipment \n
- Complete stock checks and maintain accurate project documentation using Fieldwire \n
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standard \n
- Report site issues, customer concerns and any changes to working methods \n
- Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment \n
- Deliver an excellent customer experience throughout each project \n
Essential Skills:
\nTo be successful as a Project Safety Engineer, you will need:
\n- \n
- Full UK Driving Licence \n
- CSCS Card \n
- CITB Health, Safety & Awareness qualification \n
- FLT Reach and Counterbalance licences \n
- Experience within the impact protection, construction or warehouse environment \n
- Good understanding of health & safety legislation, risk assessments and method statements \n
- Strong planning and organisational skills \n
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities \n
- Able to work independently and as part of a team \n
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required \n
- Previous experience coordinating installation teams \n
- Experience delivering on-site training or coaching \n
- Knowledge of installation techniques and construction methods \n
- Strong customer service skills \n
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet project deadlines \n
- Proactive, hands-on approach with a positive, can-do attitude \n
