DB Pensions Implementation Manager Configuration

Juliette Lister and Lisa Tremlett are currently assisting a TPA who are presently recruiting for a DB Pensions Implementation Manager within Configuration

In order to apply for this position candidates MUST have MANAGEMENT LEVEL PENSIONS IMPLEMENTATION EXPERIENCE.

Job Description:

Primary purpose of the role: Oversee the specific Implementation Team, managing staff, team processes and ensuring quality. To be a team process and systems SME.

Key responsibilities

\n
• Ensure projects are successfully delivered and no penalties are incurred.
\n
• Deliver new client implementations on time, to budget and to quality standards.
\n
• Support and develop team/staff to enable client service excellence and create innovate solutions.
\n
• Own and promote best practice within the team and oversee/sign off process improvements.
\n
• Deliver what we promise, reviewing and agreeing project plans for identification and mitigation of risks and issues.
\n
• Support the Programme/Project Managers in steering projects to successful closure and influence approach for all project deliverables, ensure all projects are resourced appropriately, escalating where this is at risk
\n
• Review all project and Team documentation for quality standards and ensure process change is incorporated.
\n
• Lead the team on process and delivery approach.
\n
• Seek out efficiencies and mentor the team on best practice.
\n
• Liaise with Programme/Project managers to facilitate project deadlines and timescales.
\n
• Manage the specific Implementation Team and ensure all people management tasks are carried out as appropriate and that staff are developed, mentored and trained as required to fulfil their roles.
\n

Essential skills we’re looking for:

\n
• System Testing and/or User Acceptance Testing:
\n
• Can manipulate data with exceptional data accuracy
\n
• Can demonstrate capability and knowledge of the system implementation processes
\n
• Can evidence experience of using system in day-to-day activities
\n
• Can describe and demonstrate functionality to team members or clients
\n
• Able to work with IT to design and build bespoke offerings.
\n
• Can use filters, sorting, pivot tables (rows, columns, grouping, filters and totalling), lookups, control totals, IF and nested IF statements and formatting of cells to specific guidelines
\n
• Understands the purpose of calculation proformas, Benefit Basis, Benefit Specifications, scenario matrices, test plans, Calculation Specifications
\n
• system debugs and root cause analysis and triage processes.
\n
