Temporary Assistant Accountant | Wakefield - Hybrid | £35000We're working with a leading and fast paced organisation based in the Wakefield area as they look to recruit an Assistant Accountant for a 3-6 month period.Key responsibilities:\n

• Processing or intercompany and group management recharges
\n
• Posting of prepayments and accruals for direct/ indirect costs
\n
• Support on central costs and monthly accounts
\n
• Reconciliation and calculation of rebates
\n
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
\n
• Prepare and post journals to ensure accurate financial records.
\n
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes.
\n
• Work closely with operational teams and stakeholders to support business integration activities.
\n

Skills and experience:\n

\n
• Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar finance role.
\n
• Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, and prepayments.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
\n
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
\n
