Project Officer – Renters Rights ActLocation: Waltham ForestHours: Part-Time – 22 Hours per WeekPay Rate: £26.04 per Hour (PAYE)Are you an experienced housing professional with a strong understanding of housing legislation and project delivery? We are seeking a proactive and organised Project Officer to support the implementation of the Renters' Rights Act within a busy local authority housing service.\n

• Provide specialist advice and recommendations based on research, analysis, and evaluation of information.
\n
• Manage complex and escalated customer enquiries and issues.
\n
• Support the development and delivery of service plans to meet strategic objectives.
\n
• Research legislative and policy developments and translate findings into reports, recommendations, and actions.
\n
• Assist with projects and programmes to ensure compliance with the Renters' Rights Act.
\n
• Maintain accurate project records, monitoring information, and data management systems.
\n
• Build effective working relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders.
\n

About You You will have:\n

• Knowledge and understanding of the Renters' Rights Act and the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
\n
• Experience managing projects within a large organisation, delivering work to agreed timescales, budgets, and quality standards.
\n
• Experience working with a variety of internal and external partners.
\n
• Experience engaging with residents from diverse communities.
\n
• Strong report writing, communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
\n
• Good IT, presentation, literacy, and numeracy skills.
\n
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
\n
