Axon Moore is delighted to be partnering with a highly successful, private equity-backed business to recruit an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner. This is a high-profile appointment within a fast-paced, ambitious organisation, offering significant exposure to the executive leadership team and the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making.You will act as a trusted commercial finance partner to C-suite stakeholders, providing financial insight, challenging business performance and supporting key strategic initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused qualified accountant looking to make a genuine impact within a growing business. The role offers a hybrid working pattern of 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.The RoleKey responsibilities will include:\n

- Business partner senior leadership and C-suite stakeholders, providing strategic financial support and commercial insight. \n
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning across key business functions. \n
- Deliver meaningful analysis to support strategic decision-making, investment appraisal and business performance. \n
- Develop robust financial models to support forecasting, commercial initiatives and growth plans. \n
- Analyse financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities. \n
- Challenge assumptions and forecasts to improve decision quality and forecasting accuracy. \n
- Support the development of business cases for strategic projects and investment opportunities. \n
- Produce high-quality reporting and presentations for Executive and Board-level meetings. \n
- Drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes, reporting and planning. \n
- Mentor and support junior members of the finance team where appropriate. \n
- Play a key role in finance transformation and wider business improvement initiatives. \n
- \n
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified. \n
- An experienced Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance Manager or FP&A professional. \n
- Able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. \n
- Experienced in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and strategic planning. \n
- Comfortable presenting financial information to Executive and Board-level audiences. \n
- Highly analytical with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. \n
- Proactive, commercially minded and confident challenging business performance. \n
- Experienced operating within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. \n
- Previous experience within a private equity-backed business would be advantageous but is not essential. \n
- Strong Excel skills are essential, with experience of Power BI or other reporting tools considered beneficial. \n
