The Executive Assistant will play a key role in ensuring multiple senior leaders are organised, prepared and able to focus on delivering strategic programmes.Responsibilities - Executive Assistant

  • Provide comprehensive diary management for multiple senior leaders, managing competing priorities and scheduling conflicts.
  • \n
  • Coordinate domestic and occasional international travel, including bookings, itineraries and supporting documentation.
  • \n
  • Manage busy mailboxes, prioritising communications and ensuring actions are followed up promptly.
  • \n
  • Organise internal and external meetings, preparing agendas, coordinating logistics and distributing meeting papers.
  • \n
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation and external partners.
  • \n
  • Coordinate communication and activities across senior leaders, internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring priorities are aligned and actions are delivered efficiently.
  • \n
  • Prepare and coordinate briefing materials for meetings and engagements.
  • \n
  • Support senior leaders with expenses, administrative activities and day to day office management.
  • \n
  • Respond proactively to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and ways of working.

EssentialSkills - Executive Assistant

  • Previous experience working as an Executive Assistant or Diary Manager supporting multiple senior leaders.
  • \n
  • Excellent diary and mailbox management skills.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • \n
  • Experience coordinating travel arrangements and meeting logistics.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • \n
  • High levels of discretion when handling confidential information.
  • \n
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams and Microsoft Office.
  • \n
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
  • \n
  • Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently.
  • \n

Desirable Skills - Executive Assistant

  • Experience working within Central Government, Local Government or other public sector organisations.
