We are partnering with a well-established and growing organisation seeking an experienced HR professional to provide both strategic and operational HR support across a diverse workforce. This is a highly visible HRM / HR Manager / HR Business Partnering role, working closely with senior leaders and managers to drive people initiatives, support organisational growth and deliver an exceptional employee experience.Your new roleAs HR Manager / HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders across the business, providing both strategic insight and hands-on HR generalist support throughout the employee lifecycle.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver pragmatic and commercially focused HR solutions.
  • \n
  • Acting as the lead adviser on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and capability cases.
  • \n
  • Providing coaching and guidance to managers on people management, leadership and employment law.
  • \n
  • Supporting workforce planning, talent management and succession planning initiatives.
  • \n
  • Leading and supporting recruitment campaigns, onboarding and retention strategies.
  • \n
  • Driving employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives across the business.
  • \n
  • Supporting learning and development activities, identifying skills gaps and coordinating development plans.
  • \n
  • Managing HR policies, procedures and compliance activities, ensuring alignment with employment legislation and best practice.
  • \n
  • Producing and analysing HR metrics to support business decision-making.
  • \n
  • Taking ownership of HR administration, employee records and HR system maintenance where required.
  • \n
  • Contributing to continuous improvement projects across HR processes, systems and ways of working.
  • \n
  • Acting as a visible and approachable HR presence across the organisation, building strong relationships with employees and managers at all levels.

What you'll need to succeed

\n
    \n
  • Proven experience operating as either an HR Manager, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist.
  • \n
  • Strong end-to-end employee relations experience with the confidence to manage complex cases independently.
  • \n
  • A genuine hands-on approach, comfortable balancing strategic business partnering with operational HR delivery.
  • \n
  • Broad HR generalist knowledge covering the full employee lifecycle.
  • \n
  • Up-to-date employment law knowledge and experience providing practical advice to managers.
  • \n
  • Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
  • \n
  • Strong communication, coaching and problem-solving skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively within a wider HR team.
  • \n
  • Experience using HR systems and producing management information and reporting.
  • \n
  • CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent experience).
  • \n
