Job Title: Finance ManagerLocation: LeedsSalary: £60k to £65k per annumContract: PermanentAre you a qualified finance professional with strong project accounting experience in the construction or infrastructure sector?My client is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead a high-performing finance team while partnering closely with operational stakeholders to deliver financial control, commercial insight, and project performance across a varied portfolio.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business where you'll play a key role in financial reporting, business partnering, project accounting, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager :Lead the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate, timely and insightful financial reporting.Take ownership of the balance sheet, profit and loss account, KPIs and management information.Produce meaningful financial reports that support operational and strategic decision making.Partner with senior operational leaders to provide commercial challenge, financial insight and performance analysis.Lead the budgeting, forecasting and business planning processes across the business.Take full financial ownership of a portfolio of construction and infrastructure projects.Monitor project performance, including revenue, costs, margins, work in progress and cash flow.Review project forecasts, Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and financial assumptions.Identify financial risks and opportunities across projects.Support working capital management.Lead, coach and develop a small finance team.Maintain strong financial controls and compliance.Drive process improvements.Candidate ProfileACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified.3+ years' PQE in construction, engineering or infrastructure.Strong management and project accounting experience.Experience with WIP, CVRs and revenue recognition.Previous team leadership experience.Strong Excel skills and Sage 50 or similar.To be considered for this Finance Manager opportunity, you must APPLY NOW, making sure to attach your up-to-date CV.*Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an initial telephone interview.
