About the OpportunityWe are pleased to offer a 6-8 week paid industry placement for undergraduate students interested in gaining hands-on experience in a real project environment.Students will join our team on a live project and gain exposure to research design, data analysis and project delivery. Mentoring and coaching are built into how we manage and develop our team.The Work We DoWe are a mixed-methods research agency, delivering qualitative and quantitative projects in the UK and internationally. Most of our work is ad-hoc and bespoke, designed specifically around our clients objectives, ranging from fast-turnaround projects to longer-term trackers and programmes.Our work covers the full research lifecycle, from design and fieldwork through to analysis, storytelling and strategic recommendations. We also have in-house expertise in advanced analytical methods, enabling us to combine data sources and go deeper to deliver truly actionable insight.Placement Overview Duration: 6-8 weeksType: Paid placementLocation: 3 The Quintet, Churchfield Road, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, KT12 2TZStart date: FlexibleWorking arrangement: Hybrid working environmentEligibility: Undergraduate students from programmes involving data analysis, social sciences, business, research, statistics, psychology or similar fields.What Students Will DoStudents will be able to get involved in a variety of activities that contribute to the success of a project and the company, including: Data cleaning and processingChart production and data visualisationQuality assurance and cross-checkingNote-taking during meetings or workshopsGeneral research and project support tasksSupport with sales and marketing activity (e.g. proposals, blog posts, social media)Skills Gained - Students will gain practical data experience, understanding of quality workflows, exposure to project delivery, collaboration skills, and transferrable skills such as communication, time management and attention to detail.Support for Students - We provide a named supervisor, onboarding, regular check-ins, feedback and a completion certificate if required.Application Process - To apply, students should send a short CV and a 150-word statement of interest.TPBN1_UKTJ
