HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER – TEMP TO PERM 🚛 📍 St Albans Area 💷 £18.50 per hour 🔄 Temp-to-Perm Opportunity Strive Staffing Solutions are currently working with a fantastic client in the St Albans area who are looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. If you’re an experienced Class 1 driver looking for a role that could lead to a permanent position, this could be the opportunity for you! 👇 🚚 The Role You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring deliveries are completed on time while maintaining excellent standards of safety and customer service. 🔹 Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally 🔹 Loading, securing and unloading goods 🔹 Completing pre-journey vehicle checks 🔹 Planning routes and managing delivery schedules 🔹 Completing delivery paperwork and tachograph records 🔹 Liaising professionally with customers and the transport team 🔹 Following all relevant driving, safety and working-time regulations '05; What We’re Looking For '14;️ Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence '14;️ No more than 6 penalty points '14;️ Previous commercial driving experience '14;️ Experience with flatbed or general recycling haulage is highly desirable '14;️ Good knowledge of road safety and load security '14;️ Strong time-management and organisational skills '14;️ Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach ⭐ Long-distance or multi-drop experience is advantageous. 💷 Pay & Benefits 💰 £18.50 per hour 🔄 Temp-to-perm opportunity 📍 St Albans area 🚛 Opportunity to secure a permanent position with the client 🤝 Support from the team at Strive Staffing Solutions 📩 Interested?
