Software Development & Integration Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a large public sector organisation in the Midlands seeking an experienced Software Development & Integration Manager to lead a specialist development team and drive the delivery of critical digital solutions across the organisation.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for software development, system integration, database architecture and digital transformation initiatives that support operational and business services. You will play a key role in shaping digital strategy, managing development roadmaps and ensuring robust, secure and scalable solutions are delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a Software Development and Integration Team

• Own the delivery of internally developed applications, integrations and database solutions

• Define technical roadmaps and contribute to wider digital strategy

• Manage large scale system implementations, upgrades and enhancements

• Work with senior stakeholders to improve business processes through technology

• Ensure robust testing, governance, security and business continuity arrangements are in place
