\n Are you an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a qualified HLTA seeking to hone your classroom skills before fully stepping into a permanent teaching role?\n

\n Academics Educational recruitment is currently supporting primary schools across Wakefield and we're looking for dynamic and proactive practitioners to work this September. This role is the perfect stepping stone for an ECT. You will gain invaluable experience across various key stages, deliver targeted intervention groups, and cover planned lessons across the curriculum.\n
\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

Whole class cover: Deliver pre - planned lessons for absent teachers, mamanging classroom behaviour and ensuring continuity of learning Targeted Interventions: Lead small group sessions in core subjects (Maths and Literacy) to accelerate pupil progress PPA cover: Provide planning, Prep, and Assessment (PPA) cover giving you real teaching experience while allowing you to learn from experienced staff

What we are looking for:

\n

Qualfied Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised HLTA qualification Confident and adaptable classroom presence with excellent behaviour management skills Up to date knowledge of the Primary curriculum An enthusiastic approach to professional development and desire to take on increased responsibility
