\nWe are recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineerto join a growing engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke electrical control panels for HVAC and Building Management Systems.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to become part of a friendly, close-knit team working on a wide variety of technically interesting projects. \nThe Role
\nAs an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing electrical control panels for a wide range of commercial and industrial applications.
\nYour duties will include:
\n- \n
- Designing electrical control panels using CAD software. \n
- Producing electrical circuit diagrams and panel layouts. \n
- Designing systems for HVAC and Building Management System (BMS) applications. \n
- Liaising with customers to understand and define technical requirements. \n
- Providing technical support via telephone when required. \n
- Assisting with electrical testing to ensure design integrity and electrical safety. \n
- Supporting functional testing of PLC programmes. \n
- Working closely with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are delivered accurately and efficiently. \n
The Ideal Candidate
\nWe are looking for someone who has:
\n- \n
- Previous experience in electrical design, ideally involving control panels. \n
- The ability to produce electrical schematics and panel layouts using CAD software. \n
The following would be advantageous:
\n- \n
- Experience with HVACorBuilding Management Systems (BMS). \n
- PLC programming experience (training can be provided). \n
- Electrical qualifications. \n
- Experience using SEE ElectricalorEPLANsoftware. \n
