StormX Recruitment is partnering with a growing technology-based organisation to recruit an experienced Credit Control Team Lead.

\n

Reporting to the Finance Operations Manager, you will lead the credit control function, drive cash collection performance, reduce aged debt, and support the development of a high-performing team.

\n

Strong excel skills to enable accurate, insightful and timely reporting will also be required.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end credit control process, including collections, reconciliations, refunds, cash allocation, and query resolution.
  • \n
  • Monitor aged debt, improve debtor performance, and support DSO reduction initiatives.
  • \n
  • Act as the escalation point for late-payment and high-risk debtor issues.
  • \n
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve disputes and improve customer outcomes.
  • \n
  • Manage relationships with external debt collection agencies and oversee accounts progressing to legal action.
  • \n
  • Produce and analyse aged debt reports, KPIs, forecasts, and management information.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with governance requirements and support audit activities.
  • \n
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reporting, and team productivity.
  • \n
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Credit Control team through regular reviews, training, and performance management.
  • \n

Essential:

\n
    \n
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Credit Control leadership or senior role.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of credit control, debt collection, and debtor management.
  • \n
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis.
  • \n
  • Proven ability to improve processes and reporting.
  • \n
\n

Desirable:

  • Professional finance qualification (or studying towards one).
  • \n
  • NetSuite experience.
  • \n
\n
