Position: Postal / Parcel Delivery DriverEmployment Type: Temporary, Up to 35 hours per weekLocation: Solent AreaPay Rate: £15.06 per hourShift Patterns: Monday to Friday, including weekend flexibilityAbout the OpportunityPertemps is currently recruiting temporary Multi-Drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Drivers on behalf of Parcelforce. This role is ideal for self-motivated individuals who enjoy independent outdoor work and have a strong passion for customer service.Core Responsibilities· Preparation: Begin shifts at the local delivery office to accurately sort and load daily deliveries.· Distribution: Deliver mail and parcels both by vehicle and on foot. This physical role involves walking up to 8 miles per day.· Operations: Utilise a company handheld device for navigating routes and capturing customer signatures.· Manual Handling: Safely lift and carry mail bags weighing up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg, utilising delivery trolleys as required.Candidate Requirements· Licence: Must hold a valid, full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points (a clean licence is preferred).· Resilience: Ability to work comfortably outdoors across all weather conditions.· Skills: Exceptional time management capabilities alongside a customer-first mindset.· Experience: Prior delivery or commercial driving experience is advantageous but not mandatory.How to ApplyIf you are reliable, proactive, and ready to hit the ground running, please select "Apply Now" to submit your application
