Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor Location: London Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team covering London. THE ROLE As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys across London. Working independently with the support of an experienced operations team, the Asbestos Surveyor will ensure all surveys are completed to the highest standard while maintaining full compliance with HSG264, current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264 Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a range of commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and public sector properties Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports Managing your own workload and daily schedule efficiently across London Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams Maintaining accurate electronic records and survey documentation Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR BOHS P402 qualification (essential) Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation Previous experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable Full UK driving licence Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work WHAT'S ON OFFER £46,000-£47,000 basic salary £8,000 car allowance 5% annual performance bonus 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Company pension scheme Structured workload across London Ongoing training and career development Permanent position with excellent long-term career progression If you are interested in this role, contact Joel Bland on (phone number removed) or email
