Job Description
\n We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to support a large-scale semiconductor fab tool install project in Chandler, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, termination, and testing of electrical systems supporting critical semiconductor manufacturing tools and equipment. Day-to-day work involves pulling and terminating conduit and cable, reading and interpreting complex electrical drawings, and coordinating closely with project superintendents, other trades, and tool install teams to keep the schedule on track. This role plays a direct part in bringing new fab capacity online, working within a highly regulated, cleanroom-adjacent environment where precision and adherence to specifications are critical. You will report to the Electrical Foreman/General Foreman on-site and collaborate daily with pipefitters, mechanical fitters, and controls technicians as part of an integrated tool install crew.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Install, terminate, and test electrical conduit, cable tray, and wiring systems supporting semiconductor tool installations \n
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings specific to fab tool hookups \n
- Perform rigid conduit bending, installation, and termination to code and project specifications \n
- Coordinate with mechanical and instrumentation fitters to ensure proper tool hookup sequencing \n
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a fast-paced, deadline-driven fab environment \n
- Maintain strict compliance with cleanroom protocols, safety standards, and site-specific procedures \n
- Communicate installation progress and any field issues to foremen and project management \n
- Complete quality documentation and inspections as required by the client \n
Required Experience/Skills
\n- \n
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician \n
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license/card \n
- Experience with rigid conduit installation and termination \n
- NCCER certification required \n
- Experience working on industrial, commercial, or semiconductor/data center construction projects \n
- Strong blueprint reading and troubleshooting skills \n
- Ability to work in a cleanroom or highly controlled industrial environment \n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards \n
Nice-to-Haves

- Prior experience on semiconductor fab or tool install projects specifically \n
- Experience working alongside mechanical/instrument fitters in a coordinated install environment \n
- OSHA 10/30 certification \n
- Experience with large-scale industrial or data center construction projects \n
Education

- Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program \n
